The Unscripted Nest

Just like that, spring is in full effect and the days are getting longer and warmer! It has been so nice here lately, even with some of the rain. We have already started soaking up the warm, sunny days! I think this is where you will find us most of the summer, along with frequenting the Indianapolis Children’s Museum! We recently became members and are so excited to go back throughout the year! This water table though – 10/10 recommend if you have little ones! This keeps the girls busy for quite some time!

A little update on Bella – I still have yet to make a full post about her health but she just celebrated her 14th birthday on April 7th! We were so happy to make it to this point since her original prognosis was only 2-3 months. We will gladly take all the time we can get with her. We celebrated with Chikfila and ice cream – two of her favorites! But for her health, she’s doing ok for the most part but definitely has her days, both good and bad. Some days she’s trying to zoom around the house, while others she just wants to lay around. She’s on seizure meds now as she’s had a couple full blown seizures, and a heart medicine as she’s also in heart failure. But, we will do whatever it takes to keep her as comfortable as possible while she’s still here!

We started planting some vegetables – potatoes so far, but have some lettuce we are ready to plant too! We are so ready to get some plants in the ground once we are safe from frost! Not too much longer!
