We usually don’t celebrate Halloween unless we are invited to a party. My husband and I just aren’t big Halloween people and never have been. But with kids, that changes things a little! We’ve never taken Malia trick-or-treating as we didn’t feel she was old enough to enjoy it. We would still dress her up in a Halloween related outfit and paint a pumpkin, but that was the extent of it. But being 2 years old now, this was the year! This was Noelle’s first Halloween and of course since Malia was going, she got to go too!
I may be a little biased but we had the two cutest Baby Sharks! Malia absolutely loved getting to dress up and go door to door trick-or-treating!

For living in the Midwest, the weather was great for an evening outside! It wasn’t too windy or too cold! It’s not uncommon to have snow on Halloween. So much so that in recent years I feel like we’ve had more snow on Halloween than on Christmas!
We dressed the girls in a couple layers and it kept them warm enough for our outing. I’m glad we didn’t have to wear our winter coats.
Surprisingly, there were quite a few kids out and about! It probably helped that Halloween fell on a Friday this year. Can we petition for Halloween to be on the last Friday in October every year? lol
Anywho, short and sweet this week. Thanks for being here! 🖤
