Over the weekend, my husband and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary! Our anniversary was on October 14th (It was the 14th of October…if you’re a country music fan, you’ll get the reference lol) but since that fell on a Tuesday we decided to wait until the weekend.
We haven’t went out to eat just the two of us in quite some time (two small children close in age will do that) but we made our way down to Indy and ate at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse for the first time! Hands down probably the best steak we’ve ever had! The meal, the service, the ambiance were a great experience! They even added rose petals to our table when they found out we were celebrating our anniversary. 10 out of 10 experience! We will definitely go back!
We then made our way to IKEA to get some shelving for my mom but the weather had other plans. So the one thing we really went there for, we left without.. lol you win some, you lose some! That just means another trip in the near future and I’m not complaining! I will say though, the size of that store and just the layout with SO many different options, really kind of wigs me out for some reason.. it almost feels like a surreal place or experience. Does anyone else feel that way orrrr just me? Lol
Also, while I am thinking about it, I’m going to do my best to post twice week – ideally on Mondays and Thursdays. But that is always subject to change depending on what chaos we have going on.
